Dr. Ho Siew Hong


Dr Ho Siew Hong is a senior consultant urologist and has special interest in laparoscopy and endourology, which is a minimally invasive treatment of kidney stones. He offers a full range of urological services pertaining to men’s health as well as male factor infertility.

Dr Ho graduated with the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS, Singapore) in 1993. He underwent a fellowship in endourology and laparoscopy at Westmead Hospital, Sydney, Australia. Upon his return to Singapore, he developed his expertise in percutaneous and laparoscopic urological surgery as a consultant urologist. He furthered his training in advanced laparoscopy at the Institut Mutualiste Montsouris in Paris, France, where he specialised in extraperitoneal laparoscopic radical prostatectomy.

Dr Ho Siew Hong performs procedures for male factor infertility including varicocelectomy (enlarged veins in the scrotum), surgical sperm retrieval procedures as well as consultation for patients with male factor infertility problems.

He has lectured and performed live-surgical workshops in many countries in Asia, and has trained many urologists from Indonesia, Myanmar, Philippines and India. He is also a clinical teacher in Singapore and Australia. He has published numerous papers in regional and international peer-reviewed journals. He is also a reviewer for the Indian Journal of Urology.

Dr Ho is a founding and life member of the Society for Men’s Health (Singapore) and is a member of the Society for Continence (Singapore) as well as Singapore Urological Association. He is the founder for the Singapore Prostate Cancer Support Group for patients with prostate cancer.
