June Zhao

Senior Staff Nurse

“It is very enriching and satisfying when a career and passion comes together. The satisfaction comes when I see the joy and happiness it brings to couples going home with their babies, knowing that I have made a difference in their lives.”

June Zhao embarked on her career in nursing with her desire to help heal the sick. She received her nursing license in Singapore in 2008, and after gaining significant experience, went on to complete her Nursing degree in 2018 from La Trobe University, Australia. She has extensive experience as a surgical nurse in the operating theatre at a large restructured hospital, assisting surgeons in various surgical procedures and monitoring patients post-surgery.

Her interest in Assisted Reproduction (AR) procedures motivated her to gain exposure at a prominent Reproductive Medicine unit in a restructured hospital, performing infertility counselling and assisting in the IVF theatre procedures. Thereafter, she moved on to gain more experience at two private fertility centres. June was responsible for the set-up and documentation of the nursing department and procedure room at her previous place of work.

She was also a first aid trainer and Code Blue Assessor at the restructured hospital. She converses effectively in both English and Chinese when interacting with couples.
